The 10-Day Saudi Arabia Luxury Circuit

Riyadh, AlUla, Jeddah, and the Red Sea - the itinerary that covers the Kingdom's three greatest luxury destinations in ten days.

February 2026·10 min read·LuxurySaudi4U Editorial

Saudi Arabia's greatest luxury destinations are not adjacent to each other - but they are within an hour of each other by private charter. The 10-day circuit that connects Riyadh, AlUla, Jeddah, and the Red Sea islands is the itinerary that most completely captures what Saudi Arabia offers: palace hotels, ancient heritage, coastal culture, and overwater island luxury. It is the journey that changes how guests understand what Saudi Arabia actually is.

The Capital: Culture, History & Palace Hotels

Fly into King Khalid International Airport and transfer to the Ritz-Carlton Riyadh or Four Seasons at Kingdom Centre - your first sense of what Saudi luxury means at its highest expression. Day one is for orientation: the hotel grounds, a walk through the Dira district, dinner at one of Riyadh's acclaimed restaurants. Day two is for Al-Masmak Fortress and the National Museum - particularly the pre-Islamic collection, which contextualises everything you will see in AlUla.

The Ancient World: Hegra, Dadan & Desert Villas

Private charter from Riyadh to AlUla Regional Airport takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Four nights here is the minimum to do the destination justice. Day three: arrival, check-in at Banyan Tree or Six Senses, afternoon at leisure in the valley. Day four: private after-hours Hegra access - the UNESCO tombs at golden hour, with a private archaeologist. Day five: Dadan Kingdom ruins, Jabal Ikmah inscriptions, Old Town AlUla. Day six: Elephant Rock, helicopter overview flight, second evening at the hotel. Every night: the most extraordinary stargazing in the Arabian Peninsula.

The Coastal City: Al-Balad, Art & the Red Sea Gateway

Private charter from AlUla to Jeddah (1 hour 10 minutes). Two nights in the Kingdom's most cosmopolitan city. Check into the Rosewood Jeddah or Park Hyatt Marina. Day seven: private evening tour of Al-Balad - the UNESCO historic district after the day visitors have left, a lantern-lit labyrinth of coral-stone merchant houses and 1,300-year-old souqs. Day eight: a morning at the Floating Mosque, an afternoon at Athr Gallery, and a sunset yacht charter offshore to watch the King Fahd Fountain illuminate the horizon. Dinner aboard, return to the marina under stars.

Red Sea

The Island Finale: Private Reef & Overwater Luxury

Private seaplane transfer from Jeddah Marina to your Red Sea island resort - 25 minutes by air, a world away. The contrast between the coral-stone heritage of Al-Balad and the crystalline turquoise of the Red Sea archipelago is one of the great travel juxtapositions. Two nights at St. Regis Red Sea or Nujuma Ritz-Carlton Reserve: one day snorkelling the pristine reef with a marine biologist, one morning sleeping late and reading on a private terrace above the water. Return seaplane to Jeddah airport for departure.

Flights: Fly into Riyadh (King Khalid International) and out of Jeddah (King Abdulaziz International) to avoid backtracking. All domestic segments are by private charter - typically King Air or similar.

Visa: Citizens of 60+ countries can apply for a Saudi e-Visa at visitsaudi.com. Process takes minutes; valid for 90 days. We provide the exact visa procedure with every enquiry.

This is a template: Every circuit we arrange is built from scratch around the specific group - duration, hotels, pace, and experience selection are entirely yours to determine. Some guests prefer seven nights; others extend to 14. The structure above is our suggested optimum.
